Access Template Checks

This guide will advise on which areas of the Osprey access templates MUST be checked prior to a client moving from v1.3 to v1.5.

Osprey Home

If the two Matters for Review check boxes were unticked, then you will receive a 404 toast pop-up when attempting to use the search on the top panel in 1.5 so make sure that these are both ticked.

Case Management

In version 1.3 if the Matter History (New) box was unchecked in the access template, then it did not matter as the user could navigate there by clicking the Case Management tab.

In 1.5 this box needs to be ticked to allow access to the Matter History, otherwise it will be greyed out for any users on the relevant template.

Client Ledgers

Please note that AT LEAST ONE BOX must be ticked in the Client Ledger sub-headings to allow it to be viewed. We would recommend that the Ledger Summary box is ticked to allow this.

Client & Matter Table CSV

When exporting a filtered search in the client & matter tables area, this is also governed by a check box in the access templates.

To allow the matter tables to export the results of a matter search to a CSV file, ensure that the Live Matters box is checked under the Analysis section of Reports.

If this is unchecked, the option to export to CSV will be greyed out when attempting to select it in the matter tables area.

To allow the client tables to export the results of a client search to a CSV file, ensure that the Client List box is checked under the Miscellaneous Reports section of the Reports area.

As with the matter tables, if this is unchecked then the information cannot be exported to a CSV.
