v1.5.5.3 Release Notes

Overview 

Version v1.5.5.3 introduces several improvements and usability enhancements across the platform.
It also includes foundational work for upcoming Email functionality (these features are not yet active or accessible to users).

New features and improvements

Fee earner bill requisitions

• You can now add VAT-able disbursements when creating fee earner bill requisitions.
• When selecting disbursements, you can choose whether to include VAT, even if the original disbursement wasn’t created with VAT.

Date entry improvements

• You can now type dates directly into date fields across the site, instead of using the date picker.
• This update applies in several areas, including:
  • custom data pages
  • key dates form
  • matter notes form
  • new client/matter wizards
• Behaviour change:
  • Clicking a date field now allows you to type a date.
  • To open the date picker popup, click the calendar icon instead.

Usability and navigation

• Updated date picker components for better usability.
• Improved navigation reliability across multiple areas of the site.

Bug fixes

• The date picker popup no longer closes when changing the month or year.
• The matter dashboard no longer shows an error when all workflow steps have been completed.
• Fixed routing errors when viewing web client enquiries and questionnaires for review.
• Fixed routing errors when running CRM 6 and CRM 11 contract work reports.
• Paragraph line breaks now display correctly in matter notes.

Additional notes

This release includes some early development work for upcoming email features. These are deployed but not yet visible or usable within the system.
